Baked feta with tomato and oregano

This recipe makes a fabulous entrée or light meal served with crusty bread.

  • Feta cheese 250g
  • Cherry tomatoes 250g
  • Lemon, zest and juice 1 Tbsp
  • Olive oil 55g
  • Garlic, crushed 1 Clove
  • Oregano 1/2 Tbsp
  • Chilli flakes 1/4 Tbsp
  • Ground black pepper 1 Tbsp
  • Baguette 1 Loaf


  1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees celsius. Break the feta into pieces and place in a 20cm ovenproof dish. Add the tomatoes, lemon juice and zest.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the olive oil and garlic then drizzle over the feta. Add a sprinkle of oregano, chilli flakes and season with freshly ground black pepper.
  3. Bake for 15 minutes and serve with the crusty baguette.
