Pumpkin pie

his traditional American dessert is the perfect ending to any feast.

  • Pumkpin 425g
  • Condensed milk 400ml
  • Eggs 2 Large
  • Ground cinnamon 1 Tsp
  • Ground ginger 1/2 Tsp
  • Ground nutmeg 1/2 Tsp
  • Salt 1/2 Tsp
  • Pie crust mix 1 Packet


  1. Preheat oven to 220 degrees celsius and prepare the pie crust as per the descriptions on the packet.
  2. Peel and chop the pumpkin, then place in a medium bowl along with the condensed milk, eggs, spices and salt then whisk together.
  3. Pour the mixed ingredients into the pie crust, smooth the mixture out evenly and place in the oven for 15 minutes. 
  4. Reduce the oven temperature to 180 degrees celsius and continue baking for a further 35-40 minutes. Remove from the oven, allow to cool and serve.
